I think you should also consider the Nikon L110 because of its performance/price ratio, and the Nikon P100 because it has all the controls, aperture, shutter speed, etc., of the SLR cameras without the size. These both are highly rated cameras by Consumer Reports.
I am looking to buy a new long zoom camera, under 350. Which one of these two are better and why? If you don't like these, which one would you recommend? I don't want really bulky ones. I want one with fast shutter speed and great picture plus video. Oh and no SLR.
